2. Security

NTG uses 128-bit encryption key over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to provide the highest level of security. SSL provides encryption between web browsers and web servers. At the 128-bit level, cryptographers consider this encryption, based on the RSA algorithm, impossible to crack as it would take millions of years with the fastest computers to try all the combinations.

5. Shipping

Shipping Damage: NTG will not cover shipping damage, return and/or replacement in which the customer fails to follow the proper procedure. See paragraph 7 below for returns of damaged shipments.

6. Product Restrictions

Federal, State and Local authorities may have laws or regulations related to the purchase, offering or sale of certain items sold by North Trail Gear. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that all applicable federal, state and local ordinances will be complied with in connection with the sale, purchase or possession of any items sold by us. Any offering of any items whether contained in our web site, newsletters, promotional material, fliers, or any other media are void where prohibited.
If your state has placed restrictions on any of the products we offer in our web site they will not be shipped to you and you will not be billed.
At the time of purchase, the purchaser is stating that they are of legal age to make such purchase and that the items are not restricted for the area they are being sent to.
7. Returns

NTG must be notified within 48 hours of package delivery of any damaged, missing or incorrectly shipped merchandise. Damage claims must be filed within 48 hours of order delivery date; NO EXCEPTIONS.
Returns are accepted only if merchandise is defective, damaged or was incorrectly delivered. Payment refunds will be made only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement. Please read our Return Policy for more detailed information on merchandise returns.

8. Warranty

NTG warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for up to 30 days after the date of the invoice unless otherwise noted. For most merchandise, items are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year. If a product has a longer warranty period, it will be indicated in the product description on our web site. NTG will replace any item returned to us within the parameters of this policy and found to be defective. This warranty does not cover damage due to abuse, neglect, alteration, failure to follow instructions, shipping damage or damaged packaging. 9. Address Correction Policy

It is very important that we receive a complete and accurate address. UPS charges a $5.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by ground and a $10.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by air therefore, we stress the importance of your providing us a complete and accurate street address, (with any apartment or suite number) city, and zip code at the time of placing your order. Otherwise you will be charged this address correction fee if your address information is inaccurate.
