RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY
DAMAGE claims MUST be filed within 48 hours

PLEASE NOTE: North trail Gear (NTG) must be notified within 48 hours of package delivery of all damaged, missing or incorrectly shipped products. If you need to submit a claim promptly contact our SALES department to obtain a return authorization number/form. DO NOT ship back unauthorized returns. Otherwise, the return claim will be automatically rejected, the item may not necessarily qualify to be be restocked and /or refunded, and you will be responsible for any/all costs incurred, including shipping.
1. ORDER CANCELLATIONS:
All order cancellation requests must be made within 48 hours from the date and time the order was made. Cancellation requests made after 2 business days from the date and time the order was placed will incur a 2% cancellation fee (based on order total). Cancellation requests made after 7 business days will not be accepted. Exceptions to this include cancellation requests related to unexpected shipping delays. If an order does not ship within the originally specified time frame (i.e., 3-5 business days, or later if otherwise specified), no cancellation fee will apply.
2. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:
On most products, we will accept returns of a defective product for replacement for up to 30 days after the date of the invoice. For most merchandise, items are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year. If a product has a longer warranty period, it will be indicated in the product description on our web site. All returns require a return authorization number (contact our SALES department for an RA #). The cost to ship the product back to us will be paid by the customer. For your protection we recommend that the item be shipped with tracking information and insurance*. If it is sent by postal service, use delivery confirmation and insure the package. If going by UPS you can use regular ground service. Insurance is not needed unless the shipment exceeds $100 in value. The cost to ship the replacement product(s) back to you will be paid by us. Please test the product(s) before returning them to us. Many items shipped back to us as defective work fine; some after doing something as simple as putting in new batteries. If an item is returned to us and found to be in working condition you will have to pay return shipping charges. Also the item must not show signs of abuse or misuse and all parts and accessories must be included.
3. EXCHANGES:
We will accept products back for exchange within 7 business days after the date of the invoice with a 15% exchange fee. Please note that this does not apply to all of our products. Certain items cannot be exchanged (i.e., electrical or mechanical parts are non-returnable). Each product returned for exchange must be in its original condition and ready to go back on the shelf or a higher fee may be applied. This includes the item and its packaging. For example, make sure that there are no price stickers (or residue from where they have been removed), or tags on the unit or the packaging. All exchanges require a return authorization number (contact our SALES department for an RA #). The cost to ship the product back to us will be paid by the customer. 4. RETURNS:
Returns are accepted only if merchandise is defective, damaged or was incorrectly delivered. Payment refunds will be made only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement. See paragraphs 1-3 above for instructions.
ADDRESS CORRECTION POLICY
It is very important that we receive a complete and accurate address. UPS charges a $5.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by ground and a $10.00 fee for an incomplete or wrong address shipped by air therefore, we stress the importance of your providing us a complete and accurate street address, (with any apartment or suite number) city, and zip code at the time of placing your order. Otherwise you will be charged this address correction fee if your address information is inaccurate.
